Sarah Lanham - Director

Ms Sarah graduated from Illinois State University with a degree in Elementary Education. She then taught 5th grade and Gifted Language Arts at Woodland Intermediate for four years before becoming a stay-at-home mom.
While at home being mom, Sarah also went back to school and received her Masters in Gifted Education from Northeastern Illinois University. She joined Precious Lambs as a teacher in 2006 while her youngest attended the school. She became Director in August of 2008 and feels blessed to be able to serve at Precious Lambs.
Ms. Sarah has two daughters, Madeline and Grace. Madeline is in fifth grade this year and was born to be a dancer. Gracie is in third grade this year and loves playing soccer (especially with her Daddy as her coach). She is married to Steven, originally from Auckland, New Zealand. Ms Sarah also has a cat named Bailey (who loves to lick and cuddle with her) and a bunny named Daisy. In her free time Ms. Sarah loves to read, go to Book Club, scrapbook, and see live shows.
Lori Terra - M/W/F AM Teacher

Miss Lori grew up in Wisconsin and graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point with a degree in Elementary Education. She has been teaching for over 25 years and has been with Precious Lambs for the past 7 years.
Miss Lori has 2 beautiful daughters, Jamie 24 and Lindsey 20. Jamie is a nurse at Condell Hospital in the Neonatal Unit. Lindsey is pursuing her passion for deaf education and Interpreting with a Spanish emphasis. In her spare time Miss Lori loves to cook, read, playing golf with her hubbie and spend time with friends and family. Her favorite season of the year is football season...college and Pro.
Miss Lori has a beautiful Nephew, Dylan who is 5 and darling Niece, Ella 2. They are the joys of her life. They love having sleepovers at Auntie LoLos house. Miss Lori has been a member of Shepherd of the Lakes for 22 years. She is very passionate about her teaching, her students and their families.
She can't think of a more perfect place to teach than Precious Lambs Preschool which has the best staff and families in the world!!! Miss Lori counts all her blessings daily!!
Jill Calvert - M/W/F AM and T/TH Teacher

Miss Jill started her teaching career in Lake Zurich as a high school math teacher. When her husband was transferred to Denver she worked in Thornton, Colorado as a middle school math teacher.
She left teaching after the birth of her son to be a stay at home mom. She began teaching at Precious Lambs in 2005 after her kids started school full time. She currently lives in Grayslake with her husband, Jeff and their two kids, Zach and Cory. They share their home with Max the dog, Bailey and Molly the cats, Yeti the rabbit, and Seymour the guinea pig.
Miss Jill loves to watch movies, jump on the trampoline, and play cards with her family. Her favorite snack is popcorn with M & M’s, and her favorite food is pizza.
Laurie Ditmars - T/TH and KEEP Teacher

This will be Ms. Laurie’s 4th year as a teacher for PLP. She has a degree from Valparaiso University in Indiana. She has three girls who are 17, 14 and 9. She was fortunate enough to stay home with the girls when they were little and she ran her own home daycare.
She also teaches Sunday school at her church, Joy Lutheran. Her girls are involved in many sports so her biggest hobby is watching all of their games and events. Her other hobbies include taking long walks, reading books and meeting friends for lunch.
Her favorite foods are salad and pizza. Every fall her husband and her take a trip to Door County in Wisconsin. It is one of her favorite things to do and she can’t wait to go again this September. Ms. Laurie greatly looks forward to another terrific year at PLP!
Denise Williams - KEEP Teacher

Denise has lived in Lake County her entire life. Currently, she resides in Hainesville where she and her husband of twenty three years, Jim, have raised their two beautiful children, Gavin and Rachel. Before having children, Denise received a degree in business management.
While staying home with her young children, she went back to school for early childhood education. She started teaching preschool when her children began attending school full-time. After teaching preschool for eleven years, Denise still believes she has the best job ever!
When she is not teaching Denise enjoys spending time with her family and friends and attending church. Her and her husband have continuously volunteered with different age groups for their church's youth ministries. Denise possesses a love for nature and spends many summer hours in her garden digging, planting, and enjoying the wild life that passes through. Her children and their friends provide treasured, happy, and loving moments in her and her husband's life. She feels very blessed!
